Kidz On Camera - Part of Talent Unleashed

Funded by Screen Yorkshire, the Talent Unleashed Project were a series of seven film making projects targeted at young people who would not normally have the opportunity to experience the various aspects of the film industry. The groups involved had an induction in film making procedures, including basic workings of the camera, lighting and sound equipment.

Under the guidance of skilled facilitators the young people then went on to develop their ideas from a script/ story board through to a finished short film. The short films were then showcased at the UCI cinema. The project was selected to feature in the UK Film Council annual review 2005/6 as an example of best practice within the region.
