Clients & Testimonials

"Ken George's (KGB Productions) naturally creative flair combined with a professional relaxed approach quickly established the trust of the DVD contributors exploring a difficult and very sensitive subject, ensuring their willingness to make frank and frequently emotional personal disclosures around the impact drug use had on them, their families and friends.

"Throughout the project Ken and his work associates maintained high levels of professionalism and dedication being sympathetic to the needs of the contributors whilst fully engaging in the post production process and ultimately deliver on time a 'truly exceptional' training resource both supporting community training and an extensive PSHCE training programme provided to all Kirklees High Schools.

"The high quality final content provides an outstanding training resource which effectively communicates important messages in a unique way and is making a difference to people's lives throughout Kirklees.

"Screen Yorkshire supported KGB Productions to deliver the Talent Unleashed project in Kirklees. There was a hugely positive feel around Talent Unleashed, drawing together a broad range of partners and getting inspiring work from a challenging environment. KGB brought a vibrancy and enthusiasm to the process of engaging young people in film making which was reflected in the films made, the responses of the participants and the ongoing impacts the project created."

"KGB Productions have been running film making projects for young people on the e2e program since September 2005. They were originally given a contract to run five project with various groups within the partnership. Due to the success of the project the contract has been extended on several occasions and to date they have produced approximately short 40 films with young people on the e2e program. Through film making KGB Productions have been able to help young people develop transferable skills which they will be able to use in other work based environments. The project has been hugely successful and I have no hesitation in recommending Ken George and KGB Productions.

"Kirklees Safer Communities Partnership has commissioned 2 pieces of work with Ken and KGB productions during 2006, the first project was a DVD resource to highlight issues around bullying and domestic violence.

"The second was a project involving working with ex problem heroin and crack cocaine users to develop a DVD resource and lesson plans to be used as a targeted preventative resource in schools across Kirklees. Both projects came with lesson plans and both resources are innovative and very impressive. We will be seeking to commission further projects with Ken's company I would recommend his company to any other partnership that is looking to develop innovative resources for use in schools and with vulnerable young people.

"I thought it was a really good experience for the students. They learned new skills and were then able to put them into practice by making a film.

"They played characters, wrote scripts and took different roles in the film making industry, ie camera person, sound, director, actor etc. Being away from the classroom, with professional adults is always a good opportunity for students. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the students gained a lot from it. We are hoping to use KGB again in the future.
