Ken George is a former school teacher who became a professional actor working in films and on television. Ken is passionate about film making in all its forms and in January 2005 he established his own production company, KGB Productions.

KGB Productions have both a film making and an educational and training division. KGB Productions make fictional films, documentaries, educational learning resources (which are DVD based) and promotional / communication films. They also run corporate training events as well as specialising in using film making as a tool to bring the educational curriculum to life.

Amalgamating his teaching and film making skills Ken and his company have made dozens of films with young people. Seven of the films made were funded by Screen Yorkshire as part of the Talent Unleashed Project which was devised at KGB Productions. The projects culminated with a screening at the UCI cinema. The Talent Unleashed Project was also selected from hundreds of submissions to feature in the UK Film Councils Annual Review publication.

The success of KGB Productions' projects has attracted a lot of media attention and Ken was recently interviewed by Nicola Sands of YTV and examples of his work were broadcast during the interview.

KGB Productions have recently made some cutting edge documentaries based around topical social issues; including drug abuse and bullying. KG Productions also specialise in make imaginative promotional and communication films to promote organisations and events.

As an actor Ken has worked with several top directors including Michael Winterbottom, and Danny Kleinmann. He has also worked with and learnt from leading camera, sound, lighting and editing professionals in the UK and in America.

He has played characters in EastEnders, Merseybeat, A & E, Ted and Alice, and appeared in feature films including Dead Mans Cards along with Samantha Janus, Tom Bell and Paul Barber . He has also featured in adverts for lots of top names such as; Adidas, Boddingtons, Calvin Klein, Kangol, Reebok, Nike, Motorola, Saab, Fuji, PlayStation and many more.
